Robert Cameron
A Melbourne based creative, Rob started his film and television journey at the VCA before entering the industry as a DP and assistant editor of TVCs.
He has since established his voice as a director, specializing in psychologically nuanced character portraits. These films being often paired with a distinct liminal visual style. In 2024, his short film ‘GOING UNDER’ was screened at the Oscar qualifying St Kilda Film Festival in the ‘Brave New Worlds’ and ‘Best of Victoria’ sessions to a warm reception.
As a collaborator, Rob has also worked on projects that have featured on platforms such as Netflix, Stan, Channel 9, Channel 7, ABC and SBS.
